Todays report,

had a review of what needs doing ,

rear axle looks ok,

main concern really is to close off previous panels , and make good.

this is the rear quarter offered up, and secured via clamps at present,

what i need to do is tack weld all this into place, offer up the tailgate and check its all straight and true.
then take the tailgate of and fully weld.

I have also ordered a new rear valance from MGBhive.co.uk. , and i am looking forward to seee some clean rear linesd again, as it had to be chopped about a bit to enable repairs, and was really quite holed. see below

i have ordered up the early type, pre rubber bumper as i have removed the rubber assy front and rear, and going for bare grill look for my car at this point.
